You'll hear how our UXR & Design team clarified the Product Strategy options in a user-focussed way to assist leadership in making better decisions on what the focus for Trade Me will be. All that plus the bonus of having a strong direction for Designers to create what our users will experience when all the pieces come together.

From high level design principles down to specific design history rationale, I'll expose how Trade Me props up its design system with context and our experiences of the last 5 years rebuilding the site alongside its design system.
Our squads are considering code and design health now, so that in 20 years’ time we will have an evolved, stable, easily maintainable and quick-to-build-on application. How can we ensure our products maintain their current beauty (not just skin deep!)?
